One of my biggest goals starting in spring was to keep up and blog at least 3 times a week. Obviously. I have tremendously failed on that account.
So my questions are these...
How many times a week do you prefer bloggers you follow to post?
How do you schedule time/keep up with material you want to post?
In general how do you balance real life with the blog world?
Thanks for all the advice in advance.

blergh, i CONSTANTLY struggle with this! i always try to post 5 days/week, but sometimes i just give my blog the finger and skip a day. i've been LOVING scheduling posts, so when i'm feeling energized and have lots of ideas for posts, i get them all written and then schedule them so i don't have to worry about it on other (lazy) days. real life with the blog world is so funny--it's always interesting to meet bloggers in real life! most are so, so nice, though, and it's so much fun.
good luck! it's always tricky to find a balance that works for you.
I wish I had the answer, because I struggle with the same thing almost every day! I've noticed that if one of my favorite bloggers blogs 3-4 times a week that's enough for me. It's always nice if it's more than that, but I'm OK with less. Maybe because I've only been posting three times a week myself! I'm always trying to find the answer, if I do, maybe I'll write a book about it! :) All the best to you!
Usually, I just scroll through my reader and read what's posted. I don't typically delete people for lack of posts (just for lack of interest in their content). I take a lazy day (either when D is traveling or often a weekend night where we aren't doing much) to write and schedule at least one post.
I started jotting down blog ideas on my phone and just recently started a blog calendar/organizer to be a bit more focused. I think having D be supportive and understanding of my interest in blogging helped. But don't let it overwhelm you. Only keep up if you're into it and enjoy it. Don't let it be another thing on your to-do list.
